Enrichment Program
Rationale
To provide enrichment opportunities for students with passion, interest, gifts, and talents.
What is an Enrichment Program?
An Enrichment Program is a semester length subject focused on a particular interest area. These were formally known as Extension Academies.
Participation in an enrichment program is a privilege that students earn through their positive participation in school.

How to apply
For 2027 students do not need to complete an application form, they simply express their interest in an enrichment subject by choosing it as part of their subject selection.
The lists of students who select an enrichment subject will then be looked over by learning leadership to ensure they meet the following selection criteria.
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated positive learning behaviours in all subjects
- Regular attendance at school
- Excellent uniform at all times
Students who have selected an enrichment program will receive confirmation of their position in the subject later in the year.
Important Information
- Individual Enrichment Program subjects will only run in any year where there is sufficient student interest.
- Students can select more than one Enrichment Program subject but will only be allocated one in any school year.
- Students in the Elite Sports Program (ESP) cannot access the Enrichment Program also. The ESP subject is fundamentally an Enrichment Program.
