Welcome to the Junior Course Guide

Welcome to your study options for Years 7, 8 and 9 in 2025

The College offers students a Catholic education with a focus on offering purposeful and deliberate pathways for all students.

Across Years 7 – 9 students have an opportunity to experience a range of new and interesting subjects and can immerse themselves in the various extra-curricular activities. They will be able to develop personally and better understand themselves as learners.

Students are encouraged to embrace each opportunity as they broaden their experiences and try new things.

The College has a focus on Positive Learning Partnerships between learners, teachers, and the community, and strives to foster a culture of positive education.

Students are supported on their education journey through the College Care Group Program which focusses on:

  • Student personal development, learning needs and progress being known
  • Students feeling a strong sense of connection to the College and their peers
  • Students developing the skills of wellbeing through explicit instruction

This guide outlines the structure of the curriculum and the study options available for students at each year level.

It is recommended that you access the page related to your Year level for 2025 to get a comprehensive understanding of the subjects on offer. There are no mistakes that can be made when selecting subjects for the Junior Campus and there are no choices that you can make that will limit your options when you get to the Senior Campus. So explore subjects that interest you, that you are passionate about or skilled in. And don’t be scared to try something new!

Further information related to subject selection will be made available for students on their Campus/Year Level Teams pages.

Best wishes as you plan your subjects for 2025.
